Offers a menu of ideas, information, opinion, news and resources to help board members and nonprofits.

 

California Association of Nonprofits (CAN)

Answers questions for members on a variety of topics, including HR labor law, insurance and risk management, retirement plans and more.

 

CompassPoint 

Is a nonprofit training and consulting organization based in Oakland that helps build capacity for organizations and their leaders. They also host peer networks and have a range of tools and resources on their website.

Grassroots Institute for Fundraising Training (GIFT)

Offers practical, how-to instruction on fundraising strategies such as direct mail, special events, major gift campaigns and online fundraising. They also promote the connection between fundraising, social justice and movement-building.

Provides low-cost products and services for nonprofits, articles and how-to’s, free and low-cost webinars and forums, and other helpful resources
