Christina Alvarez
Executive Director
Christina Alvarez joined Episcopal Impact Fund as Executive Director in March 2022. Prior to this, she managed fundraising, communications, public relations, and media relations as Senior Director of Development at Episcopal Community Services (ECS), San Francisco's largest nonprofit provider of services for people experiencing homelessness, extreme poverty, and food insecurity in our city. Before ECS, she served as the Executive Director of The Gubbio Project, which provides space and sanctuary for unhoused people in need of safe, compassionate respite during the day. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Crescent Porter Hale Foundation and Cathedral School for Boys, and was installed as the Canon for Social Ministries for the Diocese of California.
Kieran King
Communications & Brand Director
Kieran King joined Episcopal Impact Fund, where she oversees the brand and leads communications and design initiatives, in September 2020. Kieran received a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley and has more than twenty-five years experience in marketing, communications, and design. This is her first foray into the nonprofit arena and is thrilled to be making an impact.
Richard Lynch
Interim Development Director
Richard Lynch is the newest member of the Episcopal Impact Fund team. He has led successful capital and annual operating campaigns for All Souls Episcopal Parish in Berkeley. He has been a stay-at-home dad, practiced law and run political campaigns. He is now pleased to be an advocate for broader access to housing.
Shari Gonzales
Administrative Manager
Shari Gonzales was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and has worked with Episcopal Impact Fund as Administrative Manager since 2000. When not busy with correspondence and email, spreadsheets and accounts, answering the phone, and managing events, Shari enjoys time with family, friends, and her cat Smokey.
