Night of Light 2018

Bishop Marc and Diane B Wilsey.jpg

Thank you to everyone who joined Episcopal Impact Fund at the 2018 Night of Light gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco!

This year's event honored one of our most faithful Episcopal Impact Fund supporters, Diane B. Wilsey and raised funds to further our mission of addressing the root causes of poverty throughout the Bay Area. More than 300 people attended the gala and enjoyed an evening of live music, dinner, and dancing. A highlight of the evening was the surprise performance from the Bohemian Club a cappella group, The Offbeats. They serenaded Mrs.Wilsey with some of her favorite songs including, "The Way You Look Tonight".

The evening’s program spotlighted two of our recent projects in our focus areas of education, health and wellness, housing access and the environment. Mindful Life Project’s mission is to empower underserved children through mindfulness and other transformative skills to gain self-awareness, confidence, self-regulation, and resilience, leading to lifelong success and Beyond Emancipation (B:E) provides coaching services and support to over 900 current and former foster youth in Alameda County in the areas of housing, education, and employment.

“I have been pleased to support Episcopal Impact Fund, and Episcopal Charities before that, for the 40 years since Bishop Swing inaugurated the fund”, said Mrs. Wilsey.
