Our Approach
Episcopal Impact Fund has a vision of a Bay Area where all our neighbors have the opportunities and resources they need to thrive. For almost 50 years, the Impact Fund has been helping elevate the lives of our Bay Area neighbors experiencing poverty. Today, we continue that work by focusing on safe and secure housing as a first step to breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty. To achieve our vision, we unite values-driven supporters with the hands-on work of changemaking nonprofits to form a community making an impact throughout the Bay Area.

At 3rd Street Youth Center & Clinic, we believe every young person deserves safety, stability, and the power to shape their future. With Episcopal Impact Fund’s support, we’re not only placing young people in housing—we’re investing in the healing, opportunity, and long-term belonging of Black and Brown youth in Bayview Hunters Point. We’re proud to walk alongside them as they build lives rooted in joy, safety, and purpose.
– Joi Jackson-Morgan, Executive Director, 3rd Street Youth Center & Clinic

Episcopal Impact Fund’s generous funding empowers us to recruit and train more CASA volunteers to advocate for and ensure children and youth in foster care receive the services they need as soon as possible.
– Sharon Lawrence, Esq., CEO, California CASA

We are so grateful for Christina and the Episcopal Impact Fund team for supporting the work that is needed to continue to protect our essential farmworker community. Through this partnership, we are going to be able to take our Pilot Housing Project to the next level and continue building on what it means to have access to proper and dignified housing.
–Marivel Mendoza, Executive Director and Co-Founder, Hijas del Campo

We like to say, ‘If everybody reaches one, we can make a difference’ but thanks to Episcopal Impact Fund we can reach so many more.
– Dr. Nadine Scott, Executive Director, Ariel Outreach Mission, Oakland

We’ve found a great partner in Episcopal Impact Fund. From their initial grant to emergency funding during a Covid outbreak, to hosting our families at Grace Cathedral for a holiday concert and luncheon with Christmas presents for all our kids, the Impact Fund has been a true gift to our community.
– Ralph Payton, Executive Director, Greater Richmond Interfaith Program, Richmond

From grantmaking to volunteering, Episcopal Impact Fund goes above and beyond. We are grateful for their support.
–The Rev. Justin R. Cannon, Rector, All Saints Episcopal Church, San Leandro
