Episcopal Charities continues its annual grassroots outreach to each deanery as it seeks nominations for grant recipients from around the Bay Area.
By reaching out locally through the Action Network process, Episcopal Charities is able to find the best and brightest organizations that address root causes of poverty through efforts in Education, Health & Wellbeing and the Environment in each deanery. Participants share about important organizations in their neighborhoods and we kick off the research process.
At the midpoint in the cycle, there are over 35 impressive organizations from all corners of the Bay Area being researched for a possible grant. At least one new organization from each deanery will receive funding and support. This year Episcopal Charities is on track to offer more than 25 agencies around the Bay both grant money and professional support to address root causes of poverty. This is all made possible by pooling gifts from individual donors like you!
