Join Us for Episcopal Impact Fund Congregational Volunteer Day in Support of our Grantee, All Saints Episcopal Church, San Leandro
We are thrilled to invite YOU, our amazing community, to a special volunteer opportunity with our congregational grantee, All Saints Episcopal Church in San Leandro. On Saturday, November 18, we will staff the All Saints food pantry and provide food to neighbors in need*. We hope you'll join us as we give back and connect to the needs of those around us.
*Food insecurity in the Bay Area is an epidemic - 1 in 5 neighbors was at risk of hunger before the pandemic. Now we know the need is even greater. Faith-based communities, especially Episcopal churches in the Diocese of California, have a successful legacy of engaging the community and taking direct action to meet people’s needs and serve as an example of our values and the impact we can make in advancing food and health justice.
