Night of Light Thank You

Episcopal Impact Fund community “Lights the Night” for those living in poverty

Thank you for your support of the *virtual* Night of Light 2020!

With the help and heart of our honorary event chairs, Cricket and Alan Jones, Dean Emeritus of Grace Cathedral, we recognized this historic moment by honoring Episcopal Impact Fund’s grantee partners on the frontlines of multiple emergencies in the Diocese of California. On Friday, October 30th, this first-ever, free virtual event spotlighted inspirational stories of resiliency and resolve. With the support of more than 350 participants (plus many pre-event donors), the Impact Fund raised more than $350,000, exceeding our goal for this annual fundraising event. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Night of Light support Episcopal Impact Fund’s mission of outreach, compassion and empowerment. Episcopal Impact Fund’s bold commitment to address intergenerational poverty and support the well-being of marginalized communities has never been more relevant. If you were not able to join us for the Night of Light livestream – or if you’d like to share the good news with friends, family and colleagues – the recording is available on our website at www.episcopalimpact.org/night-of-light-2020. Night of Light 2020 highlighted three of our partners doing good, important work in tough times: Monument Crisis Center (Contra Costa County), Marin Street Chaplaincy (Marin County) and Youth Spirit Artworks (Alameda County). Inspirational videos about their work are included in the Night of Light recording. We promise they will renew your hope for a better Bay Area! Thank you for celebrating the best of the Bay Area during these unprecedented times. We appreciate your involvement!
