Because of your support for Episcopal Impact Fund…

St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin (SVdP) offers compassionate, individualized assistance to help families in dire need find housing and stay housed, especially during the pandemic.

"Episcopal Impact Fund’s grant is a key component for families escaping a life of homelessness to have the resources they need to obtain safe, permanent housing." – Christine Paquette, Executive Director, St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin

Episcopal Impact Fund’s grant to SVdP provides crucial “gap” funding for services that fall outside the guidelines for government funding. This flexible, unrestricted funding covers expense such as transportation to and from landlord or job interviews, storage, move-in costs and car repairs. For families, it can be the difference between having a roof over their heads or losing their housing.

When “Ruth” reached out to SVdP, she was undergoing cancer treatment, so stable housing was desperately important. Today, thanks to the support and intervention of St Vincent’s, Ruth and her child are safely housed and on their way to a long-term housing solution – while Ruth continues her treatment.

SVdP helps vulnerable, low-income families like Ruth's find and keep affordable housing, allowing them to stay together and escape homelessness.. Episcopal Impact Fund’s grant is providing direct client aid for as many as 30 families.
